Salins-les-Bains is the nearest town. It offers reasonable shopping possibilities, medical care and of course the famous thermal baths. From Mouchard (approx. 20 km) there are excellent TGV train connections to Paris. Services to and from Switzerland halt at Frasne. From Bern there is uninterrupted highway all the way to the French border at Vallorbe; Nans sous Sainte-Anne is a further hour's drive along good main and secondary roads.
